The fundamental building blocks of hooping will be explored, giving kids an introduction to hooping on the core body and off body on the hands. They’ll learn not only to keep the hoop spinning, but to move it up, down and twirl it around. With a focus on body awareness and pure fun, your child will be laughing and loving getting to move and groove.
Hoopers will learn the most powerful posture for hooping, balance, breathing, and movement while hooping, and how to attain and maintain this posture. Eventually we will explore moving the hoop to different places on the core, including the waist, chest, hips, shoulder, neck and legs. We also explore our range of motion with a hoop on the hand.
No previous experience is required! Hoops (and giggles) will be provided!
